August 1, 2018 ICYMI: Kobach’s Selfish, Freeloading Past Exposed The Kansas City Star reports further evidence of what we’ve known for a long time: Kris Kobach's only in it for himself Topeka, KS – Kris Kobach’s self-serving past is under an even harsher light. The Kansas City Star has investigated Kobach’s long history of cheating small towns with lofty promises of cracking down on illegal immigration and leaving the cheated with the bill. Just like his insistence that Kansas taxpayers pay for his contempt of court punishment. From the Kansas City Star: "Over more than a decade, including during his time as Kansas secretary [...]

New Orman Ads Refuse to Call Out Brownback

July 24, 2018 New Orman Ads Refuse to Call Out Brownback Orman Can’t Be Trusted to Move Kansas Beyond the Brownback Years: Topeka, KS – Someone really needs to let Greg Orman know what’s actually been happening in Kansas over the last eight years. This week, Orman launched the first two ads of his campaign for governor, but he never mentions the biggest problem in Kansas: Sam Brownback and the legacy of his disastrous policies. July 11, 2018 Statement on Pence’s Closed-Door Fundraiser for Yoder Kansas Democratic Party Executive Director Ethan Corson released the following statement Wednesday ahead of Vice President Mike Pence's fundraiser for Rep. Kevin Yoder in Kansas City: Topeka, KS – Kevin Yoder won't be at the private fundraiser that Mike Pence is putting on for him, but Pence shouldn't be offended -- Yoder doesn't take time off from rubber-stamping the Trump administration's far-right agenda to talk with his constituents either. Kansas' Third District deserves more than an out-of-touch, corporate congressman who supports the Trump agenda 92 percent of the time. In the past two years, Yoder has voted to eliminate [...]
