ICYMI: “GOV. LAURA KELLY PUSHES FOR MORE” WHILE DEREK SCHMIDT “CRITICAL” OF FURTHER TAX CUTS

TCJ: “Attorney General Derek Schmidt, the frontrunner in the GOP gubernatorial primary, doesn’t support efforts from Republicans or Democrats to cut taxes further.”

Topeka, KS – In her continued push to provide financial relief for families across the state after years of fiscal mismanagement, last week Governor Laura Kelly signed an extensive property tax cut bill that saves Kansans’ money, including veterans, the elderly, and teachers. Despite its benefits, the Topeka Capital-Journal reports that Derek Schmidt refuses to support Governor Kelly’s plans providing direct relief to their Kansans, writing: “Attorney General Derek Schmidt, the frontrunner in the GOP gubernatorial primary, doesn’t support efforts from Republicans or Democrats to cut taxes further.”
